The Specs:

Krista at Babeland sent me the Toyfriend Mini Rebel for review. I’ve read and heard many good things about the Toyfriend products so I was quite excited to receive one!

The Rebel is curved for G-spot stimulation but can also be used externally. It has one speed and the power button is on the very bottom of the vibrator. The Rebel is made of an extremely soft, velvety silicone. It is very smooth to the touch. A small clear plastic stand comes with this toy so when not in use you can leave it on your bedside table, if you so choose. The Toyfriend Mini- Rebel is splash-proof for some water fun!

The packaging for the Rebel is not what I would call discreet. It has a clear plastic window through which you can see the toy. On one side of the box it says “I VIBRATE”. The background of the box has “Toyfriend” printed in several colors. While the packaging isn’t discreet, I find it eye-catching!

The Rebel requires an N battery. To me, this is a drawback. I haven’t been able to find these type batteries at Wal-Mart or Target. A trip to a battery specialty shop would be in order for replacement batteries.

To clean the Rebel use a toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and water. Also, use a water based lubricant as this toy is made of silicone!

The Girlfriend’s thoughts on the Rebel: “So…the Rebel was a bit of a disappointment. The size is a plus. It would be convenient for travel or fun away from home but that was about it for me. The vibration wasn’t very strong and the power button was very touchy. I kept hitting it and turning it off while using it. The silicone felt great until I actually got wet…then it was almost impossible to keep on my clit. I did try it for penetration and G-spot stimulation but I felt like it was going to get lost up there…it’s just too small for me.”

I think the Toyfriend Mini- Rebel is a good vibrator for those who do not enjoy powerful vibrations and for those who enjoy small G-spot vibrations. The price is affordable and the silicone is body safe.

I was sent the Picobong Kiki Clit Vibe by TabuToys. I have to say my first thought upon seeing the Kiki was “Awww, this is cute!” Yes, I’m a guy and I just described a sex toy as cute. Humor me!

The Kiki reminds me of a bullet (the vibrating kind) with a flat, broader head. The tip of the head can be used for more direct clitoral stimulation while the flat part is more for broad stimulation. It is waterproof, up to 1 meter, for those who enjoy bath-time fun!

The Picobong Kiki is ultra quiet so no one will hear this little vibe unless they are pretty much right next to you. It’s small size also makes it great to take with you for some “undercover” play at dinner or the theatre!

The Picobong logo is embossed on the side of the Kiki and this is where the controls are. The controls, (+) and (-), are flat against the Kiki’s body so you won’t accidently change the setting once you find one you like. The (+) is located inside the “b” and the (-) is located inside the “P”. To turn Kiki on, push (+) then you can push it to its highest setting. To start the first of the 12 vibrating patterns, push the (+) for 2 – 3 seconds…then you can proceed through the other settings by pushing the same button. To turn off Kiki, push the (+) and (-) buttons at the same time.

Picobong has included a 6 sided die along with the vibe. One each side is one of their toys. So, if you have more than one Picobong toy roll the die and let it decide which toy you play with at that time! It’s just another way to add some fun to sexy time!

The packaging is very simple but not discreet. There’s a clear plastic window that shows the Kiki and the die. Personally, I don’t mind the non-discreet packaging as this vibe has found a home in my bedside drawer.

While I can’t recommend Kiki if you are looking for a bullet type vibe with strong vibrations, I do recommend it for a fun, teasing effect and for those who enjoy softer vibrations.

For me, none of the 12 vibrating patterns were enough to get me or my girlfriend off. BUT it is a nice warm up toy, a teaser. It was fun to use during foreplay and gave us some enjoyable sensations.

Va Va Voom sent me the Extase Zenith Gspot vibrator for review. I was impressed the moment I saw it!

The packaging is very nice…a sturdy cardboard box with a white top that includes a picture of the toy and a black bottom base. When I took the top off, I found the Zenith cradled by a balck foam insert. Underneath the toy and foam insert there is a storage bag, a booklet of all Extase products and an instruction manual.

The Extase Zenith Gspot is a luxury vibe with a large head made for G-spot stimulation. While the is made of phthalate ABS plastic, it has a very smooth and velvety feel to it. With the smoothness of this vibrator, it doesn’t require very much lubricant to use. The shaft is a rounded triangular shape. Two AA batteries are the power source of the Zenith. These are inserted by unscrewing the base. The power button is located on the base and per the packaging will blink red when the batteries are running low…definitely a nice feature!!! We change batteries frequently, so we haven’t seen the light blink red yet.

As I said, the power button is located on the base. To turn the vibe on and off, simply press and hold down the button. The light at the base will be white when turned on. To switch between the 7 vibrating modes just press the button each time you want to switch. The vibrations are a little buzzy and on the moderate to strong side.

This vibrator is very rigid which allows you to apply as much pressure to your G-spot as you like. The vibrations are near the curved head of the Extase Zenith so the work very well to stimulate the G-spot.

Use an antibacterial soap and warm water for easy clean up. This toy is splashproof, not waterproof, so don’t submerge it or leave it under running water. You can use any type of lubricant with this vibe! I found that it didn’t collect a lot of lint like many other toys do.

My girlfriend’s thoughts: “I like the size. The texture was nice, even when I got wet. I liked that it had variable speeds and functions but didn’t like that I had to basically ‘click’ through them when I hit the button by mistake to get back to the one I was using. The vibration was nice and strong too. It wasn’t too strong for direct clit stimulation and it was also strong enough to stimulate my G-spot. The shape was also nice for penetration, it hit my G-spot and wasn’t too long.”

Va Va Voom regularly sells the Extase Zenith Gspot for $119.97 but has it on special right now for $79.98 which is a great buy for a luxury vibrator of this caliber!

The Tantus Bend Over Beginner Kit was sent to me to review from Babeland. It is a great way to check out strap on sex! The kit comes with almost everything you need…just grab some water based lube also! As the name implies, it is geared towards anal sex but it can also be used for vaginal penetration.

It comes with two dildos: the small, which measures 7/8” x 4 ½”, and the medium, which measures 1 ¼” x 5 ½”. These are definitely not intimidating in size so beginners should feel more at ease to explore their strap on and pegging desires. While it says it’s a “beginner’s” kit, I personally feel it can also be appreciated by more experienced strap on users and those who prefer dildos of a smaller size. Both dildos are very smooth, no texture at all, and have a flared base. You can clean them with a 10% bleach solution, boiling in water for 2 – 3 minutes, soap and warm water or the top rack of the dishwasher. I suggest letting them air dry as they attract lint very easily. Use a water based lubricant and store these separately from other silicone items.

The harness has a velvety front panel with a pocket for the included bullet vibe but you can also use a bullet vibe of your choosing. The straps are made of nylon, are adjustable and fit up to a 48” hips (though I’ve read they can accommodate up to a 60” hip). You wear this harness by stepping through the hip strap and into the leg straps, and then tighten according to how you like it. For those of you that may have excess strap material after adjusting it, you can cut off the excess and use a lighter to burn the edges to keep them from unraveling. There are 2 O-rings of different sizes included in this kit and you secure them with the 4 button snaps on the front panel.

This harness is extremely versatile. It fits a variety of body types, which is great! Another major plus about this harness is that you can use several different sizes of O-rings according to the size dildo you and/or your partner prefers. I will say it may be loosened on the body by the weight of heavier dildos.

When I purchased my very first harness, years ago, this is the one I got. Though it is no longer my “go to” harness, I still have it and use it. You can machine wash it but I suggest using a lingerie bag and the gentle cycle. I tend to hand wash the front panel and hang it to dry.

Babeland sells this kit for $98.00 which I think is a great price for the quality and amount of everything you receive! It’s a good kit for those who want to try strap on sex for the first time but also a good purchase for those more experienced with strap on sex.

Christina at TabuToys sent me the Tantus Silicone Purr Dildo and I was definitely impressed with the look of the toy. The Purr comes in a vibrant purple color, has ribs that run almost the entire length of the shaft and has a hollowed out opening in the base for the included mini bullet vibe. The hollowed out opening is also where you can insert the Tantus Suction-Cup Accessory. The Purr has a slight curve to it and a flared base so it is safe to use both vaginally and anally. I suppose with the flared base it could be used in a harness but the base is not very large and is thin so I do not know how well it could be secured.

*Note: the bullet is extremely hard to insert and remove. I suggest adding a drop of water based lube to the bullet or the opening in the dildo to make these processes easier.

My partner loves penetration so I thought this would be a great toy to add to our collection. Now my partner does prefer a shorter more girthy toy than the Purr but I was interested to see if the ribs would still stimulate her, plus there is the added vibrations of the bullet. My partner and I are definitely used to strap on sex so using a dildo without a harness was going to be a first for us.

With my partner not needing or wanting the full length of the Purr inserted, this made it easy to hold onto…granted it was slippery with lubrication! The power button for the bullet is on the end so I made sure to not have my palm placed over it so I wouldn’t accidently turn it off mid-fuck. The vibrations were felt, by both of us, through the length of the Purr but my partner said the vibrations were minimal to her. The ribbing down the shaft of the Purr provided nice stimulation for my partner. It was different from her smooth vibrator and my veiny cocks. She enjoyed the ribs as I was thrusting this toy manually. Also, the curve of the Purr added to her g-spot sensations. Since my partner prefers the full feeling of a larger girth I was worried she wouldn’t achieve orgasm but in this case, I believe the ribs and the curve of this dildo helped reach climax.

We did enjoy using the Purr. There was one main drawback for us…we enjoy the closeness we get from strap on sex and didn’t feel this same closeness by me manually using the Purr on her. The added texture of the ribs is what truly made this dildo work for us! My partner enjoyed the added sensations of the ribs.

While this may not be our “go to” dildo, we will definitely use it! We only wish the base were a little bigger around and perhaps, a little thicker so it could be really secured in a harness.

The RodeoH Harness looks like a pair of men’s briefs with a hole front and center. It has a built in O ring to accommodate dildos up to 2” in diameter. RodeoH suggestions using toys between 5” and 6” in length and 1 ½” to 2” in diameter.

When I first opened the RodeoH, I the briefs/harness looked good and comfy! I chose to get the black/red color combo as all my other harnesses are completely black and I wanted to add a little color in this department. I tried these on and I liked how they looked on me…which was a tad strange as I’m a boxer briefs kind of guy! The RodeoH is very comfortable with a soft waistband that doesn’t dig into your hips. The material, a cotton/spandex mix, felt good against my skin. Next, I decided to see how they looked with a dildo in place. I chose the Lonestar by Vixen Creations, which measures 6” by 1 7/8”…so, it was right at the end of the recommended toy measurement. The Lonestar is quite a heavy dick and I was concerned that it would cause the RodeoH harness to not stay in place…but it didn’t seem to pull down the briefs. They may have felt a little pulled away from my body but they were not sagging. I do suggest that if using toys with a wider girth to place a condom over the dildo first before inserting it into the O ring. This helps with ease of insertion as the O ring is built into the briefs and is pretty tight!

Maybe I’m a bit odd but I like to “bond” with my sex toys before actually using them. This gives me the opportunity to get comfortable with the fit and/or feel and also helps get my imagination going. So, I walked around my house in these for awhile, getting the feel of the RodeoH while hard packing. I will say that I noticed the weight of the dildo in this harness which is something I hadn’t noticed when using it in others but it wasn’t too distracting or bothersome. So far, I liked the feel and look of RodeoH harness and was excited to try it out on my partner.

Unfortunatley, my excitement didn’t last through fucking. To me, as well as my partner, it didn’t feel secure…when thrusting, I never felt like it was adequately stable enough, completely threw my rhythm off. We also didn’t feel the angle was right. While the briefs fit nicely on my hips, I felt the O ring was too high for my preference…I’m used to wearing my harnesses really low. We tried several positions and the feeling in all was the same for us: it just didn’t work the way we wanted it to.

I DO think the RodeoH harness has some very good positives:
1. cute, stylish briefs
2. you can wear these as underwear for the day and then be ready to play without needing much time for setup- just slip a dildo in
3. no buckles, snaps or straps
4. breathable material

The cons for us:
1. didn’t seem to hold the dildo at the right angle, it was too high
2. didn’t seem to hold the dildo securely for vigorous thrusting action

While the RodeoH didn’t suit our needs at the time, I won’t be simply discarding it. I may like to wear the briefs when we go and I think I might want to get a quickie in! Plus, on the rare occasion I want to wear briefs, I’ll definitely choose these just because I llike the look and feel of them as underwear!

At $45 for the RodeoH harness, I don’t see it as a bad buy. There are certainly far more expensive harness out there. If you are a first time buyer, want a harness that is multi-purpose and easy to conceal, or just like the look and are curious, definitely try the RodeoH harness. You can pick yours up here.
